Saturday 4/23/2005 Canceled Due to RAIN
Although a brief period without rain is forecasted, the rain last night and probably this afternoon is not good for the painting.
Rain Date 4/24 - Sunday -- 9 am until completed - Painting Party.
We will be painting the wall blue, no artistic skills required. Wear painting clothes.
Saturday 4/30 -- 9am - 4pm paint the image on wall between corner and 1st window.
Sunday 5/1 -- 9am - 4 pm Postponed due to rain - come next weekend.
Saturday 5/7 -- 9am - 2pm paint the image on the other sections of the wall.
Sunday 5/8 -- No Painting - background will be completed.

This is a joint effort involving the Cultural Arts Advisory Committee, the Waccamaw Arts and Crafts Guild,
the Myrtle Beach Woman's Club, the Myrtle Beach Intermediate School and the community at large.
Funds for the mural were raised through the efforts of the Myrtle Beach Woman's Club
and a grant from the Donnelly Foundation.
Myrtle Beach City Counsel approved the mural and permitted the painting at the rec center.
A community meeting was held and the neighborhood gave the project their unanimous support.
